This is a really well done article about Hope Solo and women's soccer in general. It brings up a few good points about the fact that the more she/anybody else on the team is in the news the more soccer gets publicized. Thinking about it, it's a shame soccer isn't as appreciated in America as it is everywhere else in the world, because it's a great sport and really fun to watch. It's a fairly short article and a good read.

My favorite football player, Troy Polamalu is sticking with the Steelers through 2014 according to ESPN. You've got to respect the Steelers for being able to extend contracts with most of their big players. I'm definitely looking forward to this season in the NFL
